Step through the door into this Echo Park hole-in-the-wall and you might worry when you look around at the graffiti and holes strewn accross most walls, but really nothing about this place feels scary except trying to play a game of stick... The pool tables are completely trashed and seem relegated to seats and drink holders. Given the look inside, you'd expect to see some destitute souls drinking away the last of their change at the bar, but instead it's mostly artsy/indie rock kids and hipsters who seem to bask in the sheer delight of being able to drink Schlitz in a can who are fighting for a drink at the bar. A DJ spinning in the back only adds to the feeling that this place isn't quite the dive it tries to be...

jukebox: there’s some gems here
crowd: the young and tattooed
bartenders: a little hollywood
on tap: full liquor, and nuthin’ but bottles & cans for beer
