“Dude, they serve beer in 32 ounce Styrofoam cups!” That’s pretty much all my buddy Lenny had to say and I was in. Right by the Brooklyn bridge this old garage turned dive/restaurant features 21 beers on tap and cheap fresh seafood battered & fried. The décor is sparse and somewhat typical save for the bras, ties, and thongs hanging from the rafters and literally nailed to the walls. Supposedly all were donated by patrons celebrating a milestone, though what milestone a thong celebrates I thought it best not to ask. The crowd is mixed with stockbrokers drinking alongside longshoreman, and for the early risers they offer a happy hour from 8AM to 10AM. A perfect way to start your day…

jukebox: there’s some gems here
crowd: a melting pot of drinkers
bartenders: “next”
on tap: you name it
Your wallet: for NYC are you kidding?, go ahead and buy a round
