The first thing I noticed walking in was giant psychedelic mural of a dragon stretched across the far wall. Instinctively turning towards the bar the next thing I noticed was a heavily made-up peroxide blonde who might have been an extra in a Russ Meyer flick tending bar. Welcome to the Drawing Room, Los Feliz’s no frills dive seated right next to a laundramat. Given the neighborhood the crowd is the usual indie rock suspects out for a stiff drink, a good jukebox, and possibly even looking to hook up.

jukebox: make a music snob proud
crowd: you might even pick up here
bartenders: interesting…
on tap: full liquor, and nuthin’ but bottles & cans for beer
Your wallet: still cheaper than anything on Sunset, but hit the ATM ‘cause it’s cash only
