Slick turquoise booths, a sleek wood bar, and a noticeable lack of homeless people make the Blue Room hard to classify as a dive. Still, even if it has been dressed up a bit, with it’s cheap drinks, surly cocktail waitress and an atmosphere right out of the ‘50s this is a saloon you can feel right at home with. Sure they’ve surrounded the urinal trough with some nice looking stone work, but at the end of the night you’re still pissing in trough…

Jukebox: There’s some gems in here
Crowd: A melting pot of drinkers
Bartenders: old school
On tap: full liquor, and nuthin’ but bottles & cans for beer
Your wallet: still cheaper than anything on Sunset.
